Voor onze flagship store aan de Heiligeweg zoeken we een ondernemende Store Manager in opleiding die op termijn de volledige verantwoordelijkheid voor KOMONO Amsterdam overneemt.

 Je start met een inwerkperiode naast onze huidige Store Manager. Tijdens deze periode leer je het team, de winkel en alle commerciële en operationele processen kennen. Vervolgens neem je stap voor stap het stokje over.

 We zoeken niet alleen iemand die de winkel goed organiseert. We zoeken iemand die van KOMONO Amsterdam een plek maakt waar mensen graag binnenstappen, terugkomen en over praten.

 Wat ga je doen?

• Je stuurt het team aan en coacht medewerkers op sales, service en productkennis.
• Je volgt omzet, conversie en andere KPI’s op en vertaalt deze naar concrete
  acties.
• Je bent actief aanwezig op de winkelvloer en geeft zelf het commerciële voorbeeld.
• Je zorgt voor een sterke winkelpresentatie en hebt aantoonbare ervaring of affiniteit met visual merchandising.
• Je ontwikkelt lokale samenwerkingen en activaties die voor extra zichtbaarheid,
  traffic en sales zorgen.
• Je bouwt relaties op met relevante ondernemers, communities, creatieve makers en culturele partners in Amsterdam.
• Je beheert de personeelsplanning, voorraad, administratie en dagelijkse
  winkelprocessen.
• Je werkt rechtstreeks samen met onze Retail-, Marketing- en Creative-teams.

Wie zoeken wij?

Je bent commercieel, zelfstandig en ziet mogelijkheden. Je wacht niet af tot ieder idee vanuit het hoofdkantoor komt, maar neemt zelf initiatief en weet ideeën ook
daadwerkelijk uit te voeren.

Daarnaast:

• Heb je ruime ervaring binnen fashion, eyewear, lifestyle of vergelijkbare retail.
• Heb je ervaring als Assistant Store Manager, Floor Manager, Senior Sales Advisor of Store Manager.
• Kun je een team begeleiden, motiveren en aanspreken.
• Heb je gevoel voor mode, design en productpresentatie.
• Heb je ervaring met visual merchandising, events, partnerships of commerciële activaties.
• Ken je Amsterdam en leg je gemakkelijk nieuwe contacten.
• Werk je graag met commerciële doelstellingen en KPI’s.
• Spreek je vloeiend Nederlands en goed Engels.
• Ben je beschikbaar om regelmatig in het weekend te werken.
• Ervaring in optiek is welkom, maar niet noodzakelijk.

Wat bieden wij?

• Een concreet opleidingstraject met als doel de winkel binnen enkele maanden
  zelfstandig over te nemen.
• Persoonlijke begeleiding en een zorgvuldige overdracht door de huidige Store Manager.
• Een bruto maandsalaris van €3.000 tot €3.250 op basis van 38 uur, exclusief
  8% vakantiegeld en afhankelijk van ervaring.
• Een fulltime dienstverband, waarbij 32 uur per week bespreekbaar is.
• Veel verantwoordelijkheid en ruimte om zelf lokale samenwerkingen, activaties en
  VM-ideeën te ontwikkelen.
• Direct contact met de Retail-, Marketing- en Creative-teams op ons hoofdkantoor in
  Antwerpen.
• Personeelskorting op KOMONO-producten.

KOMONO, rooted in the Antwerp fashion scene and known for its progressive accessories and
contemporary aesthetics, is looking for a passionate Visual Merchandising Intern to join our
team in Belgium and the Netherlands. This internship is perfect for someone with a keen eye for
detail, a flair for styling, and a hands-on mentality.

Your Role:
As a Visual Merchandising Intern, you’ll support the visual identity of KOMONO across our
owned and operated stores, B2B channel, and the marketing team throughout Belgium and
the Netherlands. From styling campaign store windows to event build-up and partner stores,
you’ll ensure our brand is represented consistently and creatively.

What You’ll Do:

• Style and maintain our KOMONO stores throughout Belgium and the Netherlands.
• Apply our visual guidelines to create the right look & feel in every location.
• Assist in setting up new partner boutiques and campaign displays.
• Support in tradeshow and event set up.
• Bring the KOMONO identity to life across all retail touchpoints.
• Support visual optimization based on store needs and seasonality.

Your Profile:

• You’re a Belgian or Dutch student studying Styling, Fashion, Retail or a related field.
• You have a valid driver’s license (own transportation is a big plus).
• You’re flexible and can handle unexpected situations with a smile.
• You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and creative.
• You can work independently and have a structured way of working.
